STORY
"This pouring vessel hails from the era of Arab dominance in Sicily, originally used by farmers as a water bottle to keep water cool. To fill it, invert the vessel and pour liquid into the base. To pour, simply return the ‘bummulo malandrino' to an upright position and let the liquid flow from the spout."
The complexity of the object and the precision in its creation are the result of passion, dedication, and the great skill of their artisans, as explained by Ilaria and Giampaolo. They meticulously analyzed, studied, and recreated an ancient jug model in their workshop. This object, which had recently taken on a decorative role, is now restored to its functional origins, bringing both utility and wonder.
