«Pianta da blu» napkins

STORY: "When you purchase a canvas from Romagna, you are acquiring a piece of artisanal history and ensuring its continuation.

This technique involves entirely manual printing, where an engraved wooden block is dipped in color and individually hammered onto the fabric."

The original color of this Romagnan technique comes from iron rust. In this version,our artisans have used the blue pigment extractedfrom the isatis tinctoria plant,native to the neighboring Marche region. This color has been historically used not only in dyeing but also by renowned painters like Piero della Francesca in the 15th century.

Thanks to Giulia and Antonio's willingness to experiment, we have conceived and created together tablecloths and napkins, integrating their block designs into geometric and contemporary forms, achieving a refined and surprising result!
